This is so true with entrepreneurship.  If it isn’t working, it is OK to change it.

I’ve been looking for more business in my current lines of business that seem to have dried up.  It isn’t gone from just one market, it’s gone from all markets.  Now what?

The best thing is to ask your customers is “What do you need?”  My customers are asking for help connecting to their prospects and finding new leads.  They also want to leverage the social media tools available on-line.

The best thing to do in your social media, is link back to your website.  It is your nexus or hub for the Internet.  All traffic should come back to your website.  Then you can convert the traffic into prospects that would enjoy your newsletter.  As you create a relationship with your subscribers they will discover which of your products or services best fits them or someone they know.  Conversion is a key success factor in your website.

When people visit your website, you can add a survey to ask what they are looking for that is in scope of what you provide.  SurveyMonkey.com is my favorite survey tool.  ConstantContact.com also provides a survey tool.  If you have a website with a content management system, see if they have a simple survey module.  You can add it to your site and collect responses to do some simple market surveys.  This is a great way to tune up your marketing and to tweak your features to better serve your market.
